Vaccinations

We provide all core vaccines (DHPP, FVRCP, Rabies) which are done
every three years for adult patients, as well as non-core vaccines which may be important for your pet’s individual needs. We also offer puppy/kitten boosters for new patients (scroll down for more info).

Examples of Non-Core Vaccines:

Lyme – A vaccine for pets that enjoy hiking, camping, or being outdoors.
Leptospirosis – A vaccine for pets that enjoy being outdoors and may be exposed to open bodies of water.

Bordetella (Kennel Cough) and Canine Influenza– These vaccines are for dogs that may have close contact with other dogs, or for those that may be confined to areas where other dogs have been kept such as boarding or grooming facilities.

FeLV (Feline Leukemia) – This vaccine is recommended for cats which are indoor/outdoor or outdoor, and may come into contact with other cats.

Vaccine Clinic: (BY APPOINTMENT ONLY)

Every Thursday and Friday (10:00 am-12:00 pm and 1:30 pm- 6:00 pm) we host a Vaccine Clinic which allows you to get vaccines with a limited technician exam under the Veterinarians supervision. Each patient must have a current examination within a year with the veterinarian in order to be eligible for vaccine technician appointments. There is no charge for the technician exam on vaccine clinic days ($19.99 value), you only pay for the vaccines your pet receives. For those clients that can not make the vaccine clinic, you can still schedule a vaccine appointment with us, however, you will be  charged the technician fee for the administration of the vaccines. Vaccine only technician appointments are beneficial for healthy pets who simply need vaccines updated. We do not recommend this for any sick pets or pets with a complicated medical history. If you have any questions please call the clinic @ (669) 342-7472.

Dental

We offer dental services such as: cleaning, polishing, sealing, fluoride treatment, extractions, and radiographs. These services are done under anesthesia with proper monitoring of the anesthetized patient. Maintaining your pet’s dental health is important for your pet’s overall health. Dental cleaning and polishing allows us to get rid of plaque build up on the surface of your pet’s teeth and fluoride treatments help to prevent plaque build up post dental cleaning. Dental radiographs allow us to take a deeper look below the gum line to ensure that your pet’s teeth are healthy under the gums.

(PLEASE NOTE IF YOU HAVE SCHEDULED A SURGERY YOUR PET MUST HAVE NO FOOD OR WATER AFTER 11PM THE NIGHT BEFORE THE PROCEDURE)

Surgery

We offer services for soft tissue, orthopedic, and emergency surgery as well as routine spay and neuter procedures. During surgery we ensure your pets health by monitoring oxygen saturation, heart rate, blood pressure, body temperature and EKG readings. Your pet’s health and comfort is of upmost importance to us. We recommend doing pre-operative blood work and a pre-operative EKG so we can make sure your pet’s internal organs are functioning properly prior to surgery. We also recommend IV fluids during surgery to help maintain blood pressure and allow us direct access to a vein in case of an emergency.

(PLEASE NOTE IF YOU HAVE SCHEDULED A SURGERY YOUR PET MUST HAVE NO FOOD OR WATER AFTER 11PM THE NIGHT BEFORE THE PROCEDURE)

We also highly recommend for you to bathe your pets prior to the procedure due to the fact they can NOT be bathed for 14 days post surgery.

X-rays

We offer digital X-rays, which are interpreted by the veterinarian within minutes of having the exposure taken.  Radiologist consultations are also available with STAT consultations being interpreted within 2 hours and regular consultations being interpreted within 1 week. Radiologist consultations are recommended when a diagnosis is not immediately apparent to the attending veterinarian. Radiologists have a trained eye to seek out any differences that may have been hard to see during the initial interpretation.

Ultrasound

We have a state of the art ultrasound machine where we have the ability to video conference with a sonographer to ensure the best diagnostic imaging. Radiology consultations can also be done to interpret the ultrasound images and videos if necessary. We use our ultrasound machine for more simple procedures as well, such as obtaining urine from patients or checking for any abnormalities in the internal organs.

(PLEASE NOTE IF YOU HAVE SCHEDULED A ULTRASOUND YOUR PET MUST HAVE NO FOOD AFTER MIDNIGHT THE NIGHT BEFORE THE APPOINTMENT, WATER IS FINE)

In- House Laboratory

We have the newest technology in lab equipment which enables us to do in-house blood work and produce rapid results. We are able to check blood cell counts, blood chemistry, clotting profiles, thyroid levels, and urinalysis in house. The ability to have these results within minutes allows us to better treat your pet in case of illness. We also offer in-house progesterone testing which gives us results in about 15 minutes.

Microchipping:

A microchip is a small chip implanted under your pets skin that has a unique identification number related to it. In the unfortunate event that your pet has gone missing, the identification number can be used to help reunite you and your pet. There is a registration process to be completed after we insert the chip, and all information for that process will be provided to you at the time of your microchipping appointment.
